Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Oklahoma City Memorial, Welcome Dinner
Head south towards the warmth of Texas on this amazing tour of the Lone Star State! This tour is a perfect mix of interesting experiences, amazing food, and historical sites. Today you will tour the Oklahoma City Bombing memorial. Walk through this interactive, breathtaking memorial and museum and learn how it changed American. The story is as relevant today as ever. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome dinner with the group and time in the exciting Bricktown district! (D)
Day 2 - Fort Worth Stockyards, JFK Memorial and Tour
Fort Worth is where the West begins, and nothing embodies Western heritage better than the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District. From the original brick walkways to the wooden corrals, the Stockyards tells the true history of Texas. See a real cattle drive right down the streets of Fort Worth and so much more! Then, venture towards Dallas on the historic JFK Tour. This is sure to be a day in Texas you’ll never forget! (B)
Day 3 - Fredricksburg: Wildflower Seed Farm, Alstadt Brewery, & The Preserve
This morning, wake up in beautiful and vibrant Dallas and Depart for Fredricksburg! Your morning starts with a tour of the Wildflower Seed Farm and Alstadt Brewery! Where German style beers are brewed on the premises, enjoy traditional tastes and sounds of Germany before lunch in the historic and gorgeous Napa of Texas! Next, we head to the Preserve - where you will be able to feed elephants and interact with animal ambassadors from around the world! Tonight, you’ll arrive in San Antonio! (B, L,)
Day 4 - The Alamo, Tower of Americas, River Cruise, River Walk
Today is all about San Antonio! First, visit the famous Alamo. The Battle of the Alamo in 1836 was part of the Texas Revolution in which the Mexican state of Tejas won independence and became a self-governing republic: Texas! Next, visit Tour of Americas, a Texas landmark with a rotating observation desk, restaurant & bar, and a 4D ride you’ll get to experience! This afternoon take a river cruise down the San Antonio riverwalk, a gorgeous public haven full of shop, restaurants, art, and history! This evening, you’ll have time to explore the riverwalk on your own! (B, L)
Day 5 - Lady Bird Johnson Gardens and the Magnolia Markets
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing this morning for Waco! First, we stop at the Lady Bird Johnson Gardens, home to over 900 species of native Texas plants! Then, this afternoon, spend some time at Magnolia Markets, Full of shops, restaurants, and buildings that have been restored by Chip and Joanna Gaines! Then, we will travel East for our final stop today in Tyler, TX. This is sure to be a day in Texas you’ll never forget! (B)
Day 6 - Hot Springs Arkansas, Farewell Dinner
Today, visit the beautiful Hot Springs Arkansas, set in the Arkansas mountains! It’s known for naturally heated springs, many of them in Hot Springs National Park to the north. Bathhouse Row has 8 bathhouses from the 19th and 20th centuries. This afternoon you have options! Tour Hot Springs on a fascinating trolly tour with time to shop afterwards or you can soak in the hot spring water at Quapaw Bath and Spa! They have four levels of springs that you can enjoy for 90 mins this afternoon! Dinner tonight is with the group at Colton’s Steakhouse as we say farewell to our fellow travelers and a stunning tour. Day 7 - WWI Museum or Union Station and Travel Home
Heading back north, you’ll have the choice in KC to visit the WWI Museum or Union Station. The National WWI Museum holds the most diverse collection of World War I objects and documents in the world. The Museum takes visitors on an epic journey through a transformative period and shares deeply personal stories of courage, honor, patriotism, and sacrifice. Union Station, voted “KCs favorite attraction”, is home to Kansas City’s internationally-awarded Science City; the new Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium; the Regnier Extreme Screen Theatre; the popular Model Railroad Experience; City Stage featuring live theater, and a selection of unique shops and restaurants. This evening, arrive home after an epic adventure to the Lone Star State! (B)
