Day 1 – December 29: West Coast Welcome

Step off the plane and into California sunshine! Your journey begins with an early afternoon Los Angeles arrival meeting your professional driver. Travel a short distance to Santa Monica, home of the famous Santa Monica Pier, the office end of Route 66. Enjoy a late lunch at your leisure while strolling the pier. Then, travel East to Burbank, home to television and movie studios and your hotel for the next 4 nights. Join the group for a wonderful welcome dinner! (D)

Day 2 – December 30: Exploring Catalina Island

This morning, travel to Long Beach and board the Catalina Island Express ferry for a short 1 hour cruise to the town of Avalon in the heart of Catalina Island. Explore the city via a guided tram tour and then enjoy time for lunch and shopping! Return to the mainland in the late afternoon and back to your hotel for the evening. (B)

Day 3 – December 31: Roses & Movie Magic in Hollywood

Today kicks off with a short trip North to Pasadena, home of the Tournament of Roses Parade that you’ll see in person tomorrow! Today, we will get a behind the scenes look at the floats created for the parade and the flower fields used to create them. After lunch, we will visit Warner Brothers Studios and go behind the scenes to discover the secrets behind the movie magic. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon in time to freshen up, grab dinner on your own, and to spend New Years Eve at your leisure! (B)

Day 4 – January 1: Tournament of Roses Parade & Hollywood Lights

Happy New Year! Settle into your reserved grandstand seats as the 138th Tournament of Roses Parade rolls by in a spectacular display of floral artistry, music, and tradition. Following the parade, travel to the Los Angeles Farmers Market for lunch and shopping on your own. Back at your hotel, take some time to relax and soak in the views before a final farewell dinner with the group! (B, D)

Day 5 – January 2: Travel Home

After a final breakfast at the hotel, board your private transfer to LAX for your flight home!. Return with sun-kissed memories and a heart full of celebration welcoming in your New Year! (B)
