Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Welcome to San Antonio
Your Texas adventure begins as we fly to historic San Antonio, where rich heritage and modern charm come together along the city's famous River Walk. After checking into our beautiful River Walk hotel, take some time to settle in before we gather for an included Welcome Dinner. As evening falls, we'll enjoy a relaxing cruise along the picturesque San Antonio River, gliding beneath charming stone bridges while passing restaurants, shops, and beautifully lit walkways. It's the perfect introduction to the Lone Star State and a wonderful way to begin our journey together. (D)
Day 2 - The Heart of Texas History
Today we discover why San Antonio is one of Texas' most beloved destinations. We'll begin with a visit to the legendary Alamo, where one of the most famous battles in American history unfolded. Next, we'll soar above the city at the iconic Tower of the Americas while enjoying an included lunch with spectacular panoramic views. This afternoon, a guided city tour introduces us to San Antonio's fascinating neighborhoods, historic landmarks, and the vibrant Pearl District before we experience authentic Texas hospitality at the Tejas Rodeo. Enjoy a delicious dinner as live music, skilled cowboys, and exciting rodeo events create an unforgettable Texas evening. (B, D)
Day 3 – Fredericksburg & Texas Hill Country
Today we venture into the scenic Texas Hill Country, where rolling landscapes, vineyards, and wildflowers create one of the state's most beautiful regions. Our first stop is the colorful Wildseed Farms, the nation's largest working wildflower farm, before continuing to the charming German-inspired town of Fredericksburg. Browse unique boutiques, galleries, and specialty shops or enjoy lunch at one of the town's inviting cafés. History enthusiasts may choose to visit the renowned National Museum of the Pacific War, while others may simply enjoy a stroll down Main Street. Before returning to San Antonio, we'll visit a local winery or brewery to sample the flavors of the Hill Country, followed by an included dinner. (B, D)
Day 4 – Austin, Waco & Dallas
Our Texas journey continues with a visit to the state's vibrant capital city, Austin. Enjoy a scenic cruise on beautiful Lake Austin as we take in waterfront homes, limestone cliffs, and picturesque Hill Country scenery. From there, we'll travel to Waco for free time at the famous Magnolia Market at the Silos, where you'll have the opportunity to browse unique shops and enjoy lunch at your leisure. Later this afternoon, we continue north to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, where an included Texas-style dinner welcomes us to another exciting chapter of our adventure. (B, D)
Day 5 – Dallas Through the Years
Discover the rich history, culture, and larger-than-life personality of Dallas and Fort Worth during today's guided city tour. Explore famous landmarks and neighborhoods while learning how these neighboring cities helped shape the American West and modern Texas. Later, we'll visit Dealey Plaza and explore the fascinating story surrounding President John F. Kennedy's final moments in Dallas. You'll also have free time to enjoy lunch and explore one of the area's iconic districts before spending the evening at your leisure. (B)
Day 6 – Southfork Ranch & Small-Town Texas
This morning we step into television history with a visit to the legendary Southfork Ranch, forever known as the home of the Ewing family from the hit television series Dallas. Tour the famous mansion and grounds while reliving memories of one of television's most iconic dramas. After lunch on your own, we'll spend the afternoon exploring the charming and historic town of McKinney, known for its beautifully preserved downtown, local boutiques, and welcoming Texas hospitality. This evening, we'll gather for a memorable Farewell Dinner as we celebrate a week filled with unforgettable sights, delicious food, and the warm spirit of Texas. (B, D)
Day 7 – Journey Home
After breakfast, we'll transfer to the airport for our return flight home. As we leave the Lone Star State behind, you'll take home wonderful memories of historic missions, scenic Hill Country, lively cities, authentic Texas traditions, and the friendships made along the way. (B)
