Day 1 – Welcome to the Wild Beauty of the West
Your journey begins as we head west toward one of America’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders—Yellowstone National Park. Watch the landscape shift from rolling plains to the rugged charm of the sandhills, building anticipation for the days ahead. This evening, gather with your fellow travelers for a warm Welcome Dinner, where stories begin and friendships form. The adventure of a lifetime is just beginning. (D)
Day 2 – From the Rockies to wide open Skies
After breakfast, the adventure continues as we journey through the shifting beauty of the peaks of Wyoming, heading west toward the rugged peaks of Idaho. Along the way, we’ll stop in Pinedale, WY for lunch and a taste of local charm. By evening, we arrive at your resort in Island Park, where cozy rooms, a relaxing pool, and stunning mountain views welcome you. Enjoy dinner with the group and get settled in—Yellowstone awaits tomorrow! (B, D)
Day 3 – Wonders of Yellowstone
Today, spend the entire day immersed in the breathtaking beauty of Yellowstone National Park—the world’s first and one of its most iconic. Nestled above an ancient supervolcano, this wild expanse is home to grizzly bears, bison, elk, and landscapes that seem otherworldly. With an expert park guide leading the way, you’ll discover Yellowstone’s greatest hits: the thunderous power of Old Faithful, the dramatic depths of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and the surreal terraces of Mammoth Hot Springs. Enjoy a boxed sandwich lunch among the gorgeous scenery with the group. After a full day of awe and exploration enjoy dinner on your own and a peaceful evening however you wish—whether it’s quiet time with a loved one or sharing stories under the stars. (B, L)
Day 4 – Yellowstone, Continued: Even More to Explore
One day in Yellowstone simply isn’t enough—so we’ve devoted another full day to uncover even more of its natural wonders. Marvel at the rainbow-colored beauty of Grand Prismatic Spring, take in the serene waters of Yellowstone Lake, and explore the bubbling geothermal marvels of the West Thumb Geyser Basin. Keep your eyes open—today is another chance to spot elk, bison, coyotes, and even wolves or bears in their natural habitat. After a day filled with discovery and dramatic scenery, stop in historic West Yellowstone for shopping, dinner, and exploration on your own before returning back to the hotel for a final evening of unwinding before heading to the Tetons tomorrow! Day 5 – Grand Tetons, Jenny Lake & Jackson Hole
Today, the dramatic peaks of Grand Teton National Park take center stage. Begin with a visit to the park’s visitor center after enjoying a scenic drive through one of America’s most spectacular landscapes. Then, spend time exploring the beautiful Jenny Lake area at your own pace. Stroll along the shoreline, relax with the stunning mountain views, or simply soak in the peaceful beauty of this iconic destination. After lunch, continue to the lively town of Jackson Hole. Spend the afternoon exploring unique boutiques, art galleries, and charming Western storefronts, all surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery. Choose a local favorite for dinner before settling into your cozy hotel for the evening. (B)
Day 6 – Wild Horses & Wyoming Skies
As we travel through the wide-open beauty of Wyoming, today’s highlight is a visit to the remarkable Deerwood Ranch Wild Horse Sanctuary. Nestled in a pristine valley, this sanctuary provides a safe, peaceful home for wild horses to roam free—living as they would in the wild, but with care and protection. After this unforgettable experience, continue on to Laramie, where you’ll settle in and enjoy a delicious group dinner, sharing stories beneath the expansive Western sky. (B, D)
Day 7 – Homeward Bound
As we journey back across the Plains, enjoy one last day of camaraderie and conversation, reflecting on the incredible landscapes and unforgettable moments you’ve shared. Your guide will keep things lively with fun activities and a few scenic stops to stretch and savor the day. By evening, we’ll arrive back in Omaha, hearts full and stories ready to share from a truly spectacular adventure. (B)
