Start at the famous Cadillac Ranch, where you can add your own splash of color to this classic roadside attraction. Then stop for lunch on your own at the MidPoint Café in Adrian, Texas—the exact halfway point of historic Route 66. After a visit to the Route 66 Auto Museum, continue west to Albuquerque. Day 3 – Balloons, Old Town Charm & Evening Glow

Before sunrise, head to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta for the breathtaking Dawn Patrol, whimsical Special Shapes Rodeo, and thrilling Flying Competition as colorful balloons fill the morning sky. Then, enjoy time exploring the charming streets of Old Town Albuquerque, where you can browse unique shops, discover local treasures, and savor the flavors of the Southwest over lunch. Later, visit the fascinating Balloon Museum to learn the history, artistry, and adventure behind ballooning, and take a ride up the Sandia Peak Tramway for stunning views of the valley.
