Day 1 - Bentonville & Welcome Dinner

The adventure begins as you depart Omaha and head toward the heart of the South. Along the way, enjoy a lunch stop in Kansas City’s vibrant Power & Light District, known for its energetic atmosphere, live music, and great food. This afternoon, you make a unique stop in Bentonville, Arkansas—the hometown of retail giant Walmart—for a guided tour that offers an inside look at the company’s humble beginnings and its global impact. By evening, you’ll check into your hotel and gather for a delightful Welcome Dinner—the perfect way to kick off your southern journey. (D)


Day 2 - Rolling into the South

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride as you continue your journey deeper into the heart of the South aboard your comfortable private coach. By now, you're getting familiar with your fellow travelers—sharing stories, laughter, and maybe a few snacks along the way. Watch as the scenery transforms into charming southern landscapes, filled with rolling hills, warm breezes, and hints of what’s to come. This evening, you’ll gather for a delicious southern-style dinner that captures the flavors of the region before settling into your accommodations for a restful night. (B, D)


Day 3 – Exploring Historic Natchez

Welcome to Natchez, the oldest European settlement along the Mississippi River and a true gem of the American South. With its grand mansions, rich history, and timeless charm, Natchez feels like stepping into a bygone era.

Today, a knowledgeable local guide will lead you on a private tour through some of the city’s most iconic and elegant estates. You’ll visit Melrose and Jefferson College, stroll the grounds of Rosalie and Auburn Mansions, and enjoy a memorable southern lunch at the stunning Dunleith Mansion. This is a day filled with stories, architecture, and southern hospitality at its finest. (B, L)


Day 4 – From Natchez to Memphis

Start your morning with a leisurely stroll along Main and Franklin Streets, where local boutiques, charming cafés, and historic charm invite you to explore. If there are any mansions you missed yesterday, this is the perfect time to circle back and take them in at your own pace. Enjoy lunch downtown with fellow travelers before you head north to Memphis, Tennessee—home of blues, barbecue, and rock ‘n’ roll. This evening, take a walk down the legendary Beale Street, made famous in song and spirit. Grab dinner at one of Memphis’ iconic restaurants and soak in the energy of this music-filled city. (B)


Day 5 – Elvis, Legends & Beale Street Vibes

Get ready for a day steeped in music history! After breakfast, head to the legendary Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley. Walk in the footsteps of the King, exploring his iconic mansion, car collection, and personal mementos that shaped a musical era. Next, dive deeper into Memphis’ music scene at the Rock ’n’ Soul Museum, then tour the famous Sun Studio, where music legends like Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Elvis himself first recorded their groundbreaking hits. Day 6 – Memphis Highlights & the Famous Throwed Roll

Head out for a guided city tour of Memphis. Known as the Home of the Blues and Birthplace of Rock ’n’ Roll, Memphis is packed with musical roots and iconic landmarks. You may even catch a glimpse of where Gibson Guitars are crafted! For lunch, dig into mouthwatering ribs at Marlowe’s BBQ, a local favorite featured on Food Network. Then you’ll make your way to Springfield, Missouri, for a fun and flavorful evening. Tonight’s dinner is at the one-and-only Lambert’s Café—famous for its hearty southern cooking and, of course, its legendary “throwed rolls.” Get ready for great food, big laughs, and a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
