Tour Itinerary

Day 1 (Sept 29)  - Your unforgettable UK adventure starts here! Get ready for a trip filled with iconic sights, incredible flavors, and hand-picked hotels that make travel feel effortless. Tonight, board your overnight flight to London—whether booked on your own or arranged through Excite—and settle in for some well-earned rest. Tomorrow, your epic adventure across the UK begins!

Day 2 (Sept 30)- Touch down in London this morning and meet your private transfer, ready to whisk you away to your first dazzling stop—Windsor Castle. Spanning 13 acres, this remarkable estate blends the strength of a fortress, the elegance of a royal palace, and the charm of a small town. With your guide, step inside centuries of history as you tour the world’s oldest and largest inhabited castle, still actively used by the British monarchy today. This evening, return to your London hotel and gather with your fellow travelers for a festive Welcome Dinner to kick off the journey ahead. (D)

Day 3 (Oct 1)- After breakfast, meet your local guide for a half-day tour of London’s most iconic sights. Discover the city’s rich history and vibrant present as you take in landmarks including Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and the Tower of London, home to the dazzling Crown Jewels and once even London’s first zoo. Following the tour, enjoy free time for lunch on your own in Central London before soaring above the city on the iconic London Eye, where breathtaking views stretch across the capital. Afterward, London is yours—continue exploring on your own, browse local shops, check out Trafalgar Square, or join an optional Broadway experience in the West End. Tonight, enjoy your final taste of London—whether that means a cozy pub, a stroll along the Thames, or simply taking in the city's unforgettable atmosphere. (B)

Day 4 (Oct 2)- Enjoy breakfast and then head to the storied city of Oxford. Together, we will explore the heart of this university town, home to the oldest university in the English-speaking world. See iconic landmarks like the Bridge of Sighs, the Radcliffe Camera, and even the burial site of author C.S. Lewis. Step inside Christ Church, one of Oxford’s largest and most famous colleges, where great minds have studied, and several Harry Potter scenes were filmed. Its impressive dining hall even inspired J.K. Rowling’s vision for the Great Hall! After lunch, leave the city behind for a visit to a local vineyard and winery. Here, the cool English climate allows grapes to ripen slowly, developing delicate aromas and complex flavors. Enjoy a tour of the grounds and a tasting of their fine wines before returning to Oxford for the evening. Tonight, relax with dinner at leisure—perhaps over a pint at a cozy pub with friends. (B)

Day 5 (Oct 3)- Today, journey to the historic city of Cambridge, voted the UK’s best city in 2022 by Condé Nast. Famous for its 31 colleges that make up the world-renowned university, the city is filled with charm and history. With your local guide, stroll through the heart of Cambridge, step inside King’s College—founded by Henry VI in 1441—and take in the stunning views of The Backs, considered one of the top ten vistas in England. Enjoy lunch with the group at a classic, local spot. This afternoon, switch gears for a fun and interactive gin-making workshop. A local craftsman will guide you through the process before you design and bottle your very own creation—a truly unique souvenir of your journey. (B, L)

Day 6 (Oct 4)- Today, discover the charm of York, a city steeped in history. Begin with a guided walking tour, where you’ll explore highlights such as the medieval city walls and the magnificent York Minster, one of the largest cathedrals in Northern Europe. After your stroll, indulge your sweet tooth with a visit to a local chocolate producer. Tour the facility, learn about York’s rich confectionery heritage, and enjoy the chance to craft your very own chocolate bar—a delicious souvenir to remember your day by. (B)

Day 7 (Oct 5)- After breakfast, we journey north toward Scotland, enjoying the changing landscapes along the way. En route, we'll stop in Newcastle to view the iconic Angel of the North, one of the United Kingdom’s most recognizable modern landmarks. Arrive in Edinburgh around lunchtime and enjoy time for lunch on your own before exploring the city's royal past with a visit to Edinburgh Castle, perched high above the city skyline.
