Days 1 & 2 (March 1-2)
Your journey begins with a long-haul flight from Omaha to Melbourne, Australia’s cultural capital. These first two days are dedicated to travel and rest, arriving refreshed and ready to start your adventure.
Day 3 (March 3)
Arrive into Melbourne and feel instantly swept up in a city alive with creativity, culture, and effortless charm. From colorful laneways and hidden cafés to elegant arcades, seaside strolls, and lush gardens, Melbourne invites you to explore at your own pace. Enjoy a guided city tour to ground yourself in the city and end the day with a welcome dinner with the group before resting in your beautiful and centrally located hotel for the night. (D)
Day 4 (March 4)
Enjoy a scenic escape to the Yarra Valley, where you’ll sip your way through renowned vineyards, including Yering Station, Punt Road, Rochford, and Domaine Chandon. Enjoy a seamless private transfer to the airport before flying to Cairns, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a private transfer to your accommodation and time to unwind. Day 6 (March 6)
Today, embark on an extraordinary full-day adventure to the Great Barrier Reef, one of the world’s most iconic natural wonders. Board a premium catamaran and cruise out to a beautiful reef site where you’ll have opportunities to snorkel among vibrant coral gardens, swim alongside tropical fish, or ...simply relax on the deck with a cool drink in hand. Day 7 (March 7)
Immerse yourself in the culture and nature of the rainforest. Spend the morning at Rainforestation Nature Park, nestled in the lush Kuranda rainforest. Visit the Koala & Wildlife Park to see native animals up close, including kangaroos and crocodiles. After a wonderful breakfast and time around Darwin, board The Ghan Train for an unforgettable 3 night, 4 day southbound journey through Australia’s rugged interior as we head for Adelaide.
