Day 1 – Welcome to Your Adventure!

Begin at the Chamber of Commerce, browsing handmade goods, bakery treats, and local crafts before setting off on your guided tour of the famous Bridges of Madison County—each one rich with history and small-town magic. Stroll the town square to explore the farmers market, Pioneer Village, and the beautiful Iowa Quilt Museum. After lunch, visit John Wayne’s birthplace, then enjoy time to wander festival booths, catch a short film at the newly restored Iowa Theatre, and soak in the festive atmosphere before heading home.
