Day 2 – Amtrak to Portland, Seal Watching & Lobster Cruise

Upon arrival, savor a fresh seafood lunch before stepping aboard a Catch and Release Cruise—where you’ll spot seals, learn about Maine’s lobstering traditions, and experience the rhythms of coastal life. Day 3 – Mt. Washington & the Cog Railway

Today, journey into New Hampshire’s White Mountains to visit the legendary Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast and famed for its dramatic weather and sweeping vistas. Board the historic Mt. Washington Cog Railway—the world’s first mountain-climbing train, in operation since 1869—for a thrilling ride up the steep slopes to the summit. At the top, take in breathtaking views before enjoying lunch with the mountains spread out before you.
