Continue into the heart of Zion National Park, where sandstone cliffs rise around you in a breathtaking display of nature’s artistry. As the journey winds west, visit the peaceful Mount Carmel Junction and explore the mystical light and curves of Antelope Canyon, one of the most photographed slot canyons in the world. Level 4 - Active This tour includes longer travel days, walking tours, and time outdoors exploring National Parks and natural sites. Expect uneven terrain, stairs, and periods of standing. Participants should be comfortable with moderate hiking, scenic overlooks, and more active excursions. A good level of mobility and stamina will ensure you fully enjoy this adventure.


Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome to Denver

Begin your Southwest adventure with a scenic drive across Kansas, getting to know your fellow travelers as the journey unfolds. Arrive in Denver and settle into your beautiful hotel with mountain views. Tonight, enjoy a welcome dinner with the group, followed by time to relax or share a cocktail in the hotel lounge. (D)


Day 2 – Georgetown, Vail & Grand Junction

Travel through the Rockies to historic Georgetown, “the Silver Queen of the Rockies,” where you’ll board a vintage steam train and explore the region’s mining past. Stop for lunch in picturesque Vail, known for its alpine charm, shops, and stunning scenery. End the day in Grand Junction, where you’ll settle in for the night. (B)


Day 3 – Arches National Park & Moab

Wake up to mountain views before heading to Arches National Park, home to over 2,000 natural sandstone arches. Spend the day exploring its breathtaking landscapes, with guided stops at famous sites and time to wander up close. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing to Moab for an overnight stay. Day 4 – Capitol Reef National Park

Discover the beauty of Capitol Reef National Park, spanning 1.9 million acres of stunning wilderness. See the unique Navajo Sandstone formations, shaped into dome-like structures resembling the U.S. Capitol. Spend the afternoon taking in the rugged landscapes of the Southwest before overnighting in Richfield, UT. Tomorrow brings the wonders of Bryce Canyon! (B)


Day 5 – Bryce Canyon & Coral Pink Sand Dunes

After breakfast, journey to Bryce Canyon National Park, where horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters showcase its world-famous hoodoos. Capture breathtaking photos of these natural wonders before continuing to the striking Coral Pink Sand Dunes, glowing against red sandstone cliffs. Tonight, overnight in Kanab, a charming town rich in Wild West history and great dining options. (B, L)


Day 6 – Zion National Park

Discover the majesty of Zion National Park, Utah’s first and most beloved park. Journey through Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, with its towering red cliffs, and follow trails along the Virgin River to the Emerald Pools, complete with waterfalls and a hanging garden. Tonight, enjoy dinner with the group surrounded by Zion’s breathtaking beauty. (B, L)


Day 7 – Antelope Canyon & Lake Powell

Travel scenic mountain roads to Antelope Canyon and Lake Powell, where a boat tour lets you get up close to the canyon’s towering walls. This evening, arrive in Durango, CO and enjoy a fun pizza party dinner at the hotel with friends. (B, D)


Day 8 – Return to Denver & Farewell Dinner

After breakfast, journey back through the majestic Rockies aboard your motorcoach. Tonight, enjoy a special farewell dinner in Denver, sharing stories and memories with your fellow travelers before the tour concludes. (B, D)


Day 9 – Homeward Bound

Enjoy breakfast before beginning the journey back to Kansas. Along the way, your guide will keep the fun going with games and prize giveaways from our scavenger hunt. Reflect on the incredible sights and wide-open spaces you’ve experienced as your adventure out West comes to a close. (B)
