Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome to Minneapolis

Your adventure to the Apostle Islands and Door County begins! Travel through Iowa into Minneapolis, where you’ll check into your downtown hotel. Tonight, enjoy a spectacular welcome dinner with the group—a perfect chance to meet your fellow travelers and share some laughs. Afterward, you may choose to explore the city a bit or grab a drink with new friends. (D)


Day 2 – Apostle Islands & Door County

After breakfast, journey north to Bayfield, WI, and board a boat for a stunning Apostle Islands tour, home to more historic lighthouses than any other National Park site. Later, continue to Sturgeon Bay in the heart of Door County, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing evening and dinner in this charming lakeside town. (B, L)


Day 3 – Flavors & History of Door County

Begin the day with a tour and tasting at Renard’s Cheese Factory before enjoying lunch. Then, explore maritime heritage at the Door County Maritime Museum. End the day with a delightful tour and tasting at Door Peninsula Winery before checking into your hotel for the evening. (B, D)


Day 4 – Door County Traditions

Discover Boynton Chapel, a stunning 12th-century Norwegian-style stave church, before visiting Seaquist Orchards for a taste of Door County’s famous cherries. Enjoy a traditional Swedish lunch at Al Johnson’s, then explore the charming shops of Founders Square. Tonight, experience a classic Door County Fish Boil at Pelletier’s—an unforgettable mix of flames, tradition, and delicious flavors. (B, D)


Day 5 – Fond du Lac Favorites

Head to Fond du Lac, set on the shores of America’s largest inland lake. Explore the dazzling Kristmas Kringle Shoppe, enjoy a delicious lunch, and top off the day with a sweet tour and tasting at Kelley’s Country Creamery, featured on Good Morning America. (B)


Day 6 – Lake Adventures & Farewell

Start the day aboard a U.S. Mail Boat, cruising the lake while taking in stunning homes and local history. After a breezy lakeside lunch, continue to Elkhorn, WI, where you’ll settle into your hotel and enjoy a special farewell dinner with the group. (B, D)


Day 7 – Homeward Bound
