Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome to Big Sky Country

Arrive in Bozeman, Montana, your gateway to the Northern Rockies. Breathe in that crisp mountain air as you meet your fellow travelers and settle in. Tonight, enjoy a warm Welcome Dinner as we prepare to begin our journey through three of North America’s most spectacular national parks. With mountains rising all around and excitement in the air, you’ll feel the adventure beginning the moment you step off the plane. Rest easy tonight knowing the wild beauty of Glacier National Park awaits tomorrow. (D)

Day 2 – Glacier National Park & Red Jammers

Today is all about Glacier National Park, “the Crown of the Continent.” Step aboard the legendary Red Jammers—those vintage open-air touring buses that offer the best views around. Travel along the famed Going-to-the-Sun Road, stopping at Logan Pass and Lake McDonald Lodge for lunch. Soaring peaks, alpine valleys, and waterfalls surround you in every direction. The crisp mountain air, mixed with the sound of rushing streams, makes this one of the most unforgettable rides in North America. By evening, return to your lodge and share stories from the day with your fellow travelers. (B, L)

Day 3 – More Glacier & Journey to Banff

Spend the morning savoring the beauty of Glacier before crossing north into Canada. Stop for lunch at the historic Lake Louise Rail Station before continuing into the postcard-perfect landscapes of Banff National Park. Settle into your lodge in Banff, surrounded by mountain grandeur. Tonight, enjoy dinner on your own in the lively town center, perhaps sampling a Canadian specialty or a local brew. The clear alpine skies are perfect for stargazing before heading back to your room. (B, L)

Day 4 – Banff Gondola & Chateau Lake Louise

This morning, ride the Banff Gondola up Sulphur Mountain for panoramic views of six mountain ranges. Stroll the boardwalk to Sanson’s Peak or explore the interpretive center. Then dine in style at the iconic Chateau Lake Louise, gazing out at turquoise waters and snow-tipped peaks. In the afternoon, browse charming shops in Banff or take a gentle walk along the Bow River. Whether you sip coffee on a patio or simply breathe in the mountain air, this day is all about savoring the Rockies at their finest. (B, L)

Day 5 – Glaciers, Skywalks & Into Jasper

Journey along the spectacular Icefields Parkway, one of the world’s most scenic drives. Stop at the Glacier Discovery Centre, where you’ll board an Ice Explorer to travel out onto the Athabasca Glacier itself. Then test your courage on the Columbia Icefield Skywalk, a glass-bottom walkway suspended high above the Sunwapta Valley. Along the way, take in waterfalls, wildlife sightings, and soaring mountain passes. For those looking for something different, you may choose to skip the glacier tour and instead enjoy a fly fishing experience on crystal-clear alpine waters, surrounded by mountain peaks. By the time you arrive in Jasper this evening, you’ll feel you’ve traveled through a natural masterpiece no matter which path you chose. (B, L)

Day 6 – Jasper & Spirit Island

Discover the untamed beauty of Jasper National Park, Canada’s largest. After a guided tour through this alpine wonderland, board a boat for the famous Maligne Lake Cruise to Spirit Island, one of the most photographed spots in the Rockies. With rugged peaks and turquoise waters all around, it’s a perfect final full day in the mountains. This evening, enjoy a relaxed farewell gathering with your fellow travelers to celebrate the journey. The peaceful stillness of Jasper’s starlit skies makes for a fitting finale. (B)

Day 7 – Farewell from Edmonton

After breakfast, travel east to Edmonton, the urban gateway to the Rockies. Reflect on the week’s unforgettable adventures—Glacier’s Red Jammers, Banff’s gondolas and lakes, Jasper’s Spirit Island—as you prepare for your flights home. Before leaving, take one last look at the Rockies on the horizon, a reminder of the incredible landscapes you’ve just explored. Though the trip is ending, the memories and friendships you’ve made will carry on long after you return home. (B)
