Level 2 - Light walking, cobblestone or brick lain streets, and some stairs. A comfortable pace with plenty of time to rest and enjoy the views.


Tour Itinerary

Day 1 -  Welcome Dinner

This is a tour like none other! Full of sights, amazing food, history and fun, the 8 days will go by so fast! Jump on your private motorcoach and head southeast! Stop for an amazing BBQ lunch in Kansas City! The travel day ends in St. Louis, where you will enjoy a Welcome dinner with your fellow guests. You might want to check out Laclede's Landing for a beverage and great music! Your downtown hotel is right next door! (D)


Day 2 - Belle Meade

Today, drive along the rolling hills of Tennessee to Clarksville where you'll have lunch. Then, your off to Nashville! Visit the spectacular Belle Meade plantation for a tour followed by a visit and tasting at their winery! Tonight, you're in for a real treat. Dinner is included tonight! Then, you'll have free time in Nashville! (B,D)


Day 3 - Consolidated Gold Mine Tour and Accent Cellars

Talk about fascinating, visit the Consolidated Gold mine for a tour deep underground! Established in 1880, at one time over 15,000 miners searched for gold here! You'll even get a chance to pan for gold yourself!  After lunch, we will visit Accent Cellars! This family run estate winery features delicious wines from grapes sourced in Georgia! Enjoy a tour and tasting of their spectacular wine! Spend the night tonight in Dahlonega! (B)


Day 4 - Looking Glass Creamery

Continue on today through the great Smoky Mountains! The gorgeous mountains, formed millions of years ago, once were as tall as the Alps & the Rockies, before experiencing natural erosion. Lunch is going to be spectacular! A short afternoon drive will take you to Asheville! This wonderful town, situated in the Blue Ridge Mountains is home to a vibrant arts culture and historic architecture! You'll have time to explore tonight on your own as your hotel is right downtown! Day 5 -The Biltmore Estate

This morning, you are off to enjoy the spectacular Biltmore Estate. Biltmore’s history, timeless beauty, and exceptional guest service make it an ideal setting. With over 178,926 sq feet of space, it is the largest privately owned home in the United States! Tour the mansion and then perhaps enjoy a wine tasting on the grounds of the estate or a tour of the fabulous gardens! It's surely to be an event you'll never forget! (B, L)


Day 6 - The Holler Moonshine Tour, Museum of Appalachia, and Lexington City Tour

You’ve got a full day today! Start at the Holler Moonshine distillery where you'll learn about the deep history of Moonshine in this area and the unique way they made their hooch! Then, it's off to the Museum of Appalachia! It is a living history museum that interprets the pioneer and early 20th-century period of the Southern Appalachian region! Finally, make your way to Lexington, KY! After checking into your hotel, join the group for an amazing tour of Lexington! (B, L)


Day 7 - Woodford Reserve Distillery, Rootbound Farm Tour, and Farewell Dinner

After a great breakfast head to the famous Woodford Reserve Distillery! The official sponsor of the Kentucky Derby, this Bourbon is pure USA. Enjoy a spectacular tour that includes a tasting and a cocktail! After lunch, visit the Rootbound Farm! They raise over 60 different organic vegetables and fruits, 700 chickens and 400 sheep! Tour this amazing facility and taste the difference their fresh produce makes! Finally, join the group for your farewell dinner with time to spend out with friends after your meal. (B, D)


Day 8 - August Winery and Travel home

The fun isn't over quite yet! On your way home, visit an amazing winery. Augusta Winery is set in the countryside of KC! A perfect way to end a perfect tour! (B)
