Once the nation’s busiest steamboat port, Galena is now a storybook river town filled with charm, shops, and delicious finds. Start your day with a narrated trolley tour, then enjoy free time to browse boutiques, grab a bite, and soak in the cobblestone magic. Later, we’ll head to Galena Cellars Winery for a tasting paired with local cheeses and time to explore their shop. Don’t miss sweet stops like Chocolat’ 229 or Galena Canning Co., known for nostalgic jams and gourmet goodies. Tonight, return to the historic DeSoto House for a relaxing evening and a memorable dinner. (B, D)
