Your journey begins with flights into Washington, D.C., where history and grandeur come alive. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel before joining your fellow travelers for a special welcome dinner at a local restaurant. As evening falls, embark on a panoramic Illuminated Night Tour of the capital’s iconic monuments. It’s a stirring introduction to our nation’s story and the perfect start to your patriotic journey. (D)

Day 2 – National Mall & Smithsonian Treasures

This morning, experience the heart of Washington, D.C. with a guided visit to the National Mall, where the monuments and memorials tell the nation’s story in stone and bronze. You’ll have time to explore one of the Smithsonian Museums, home to world-class collections that span history, culture, science, and art. After lunch on your own, board the motorcoach and travel south to Williamsburg, Virginia. Upon arrival, check into your hotel for a two-night stay. Tonight, share a group dinner at a local restaurant as you settle into the historic charm of the region. (B, D)

Day 3 – Colonial Williamsburg Experience

Step back in time as your colonial guide leads you through the streets of Colonial Williamsburg, the world’s largest living history museum. Wander the same paths once walked by America’s Founding Fathers, exploring the Governor’s Palace with its stately rooms and grand gardens, and the Capitol, where debates of independence first took root. As you stroll the 18th-century town, you’ll see costumed tradesmen practicing traditional crafts, from blacksmithing to bookbinding, and hear the stories of ordinary colonists navigating extraordinary times. After your guided tour, the afternoon is yours to explore at leisure. Browse the quaint shops, enjoy a casual lunch in one of the historic taverns, or simply sit and take in the atmosphere of this remarkable re-creation of colonial life. This evening, gather for a special dinner at Shield’s Tavern, where the candlelit ambiance, hearty Southern fare, and lively fiddlers make for a memorable evening that feels straight out of the Revolutionary era. (B, D)

Day 4 - Mariner’s Museum, Hullabaloo & International Tattoo

Begin with a visit to the renowned Mariner’s Museum in Newport News, where maritime history spans from ancient navigation to modern naval strength. Afterward, enjoy a buffet lunch before the festivities of Hullabaloo, a pre-show celebration featuring military bands, dancers, and drill teams from around the globe. Then take your premium reserved seats at the spectacular Virginia International Tattoo, the largest of its kind in the United States. With stirring music, precision drills, and a special 250th anniversary theme, this is a patriotic display unlike any other. Tonight, settle into your Virginia Beach hotel for a two-night stay and enjoy a free evening on the lively boardwalk. (B, L)

Day 5 – Yorktown Victory Center & Revolutionary Patriots Dinner Dance

This morning, explore the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, where costumed interpreters recreate the atmosphere of an 18th-century Continental Army encampment. Witness cannon firings, musket demonstrations, and fife & drum performances that bring the Revolution to life. Following an included lunch, prepare for an unforgettable evening at the Revolutionary Patriots Dinner Dance. Dine in the company of historical figures such as Washington, Jefferson, and Patrick Henry, then dance the night away with music by The Rondels. (B, L, D)

Day 6 – Nauticus & Battleship Wisconsin
