Spend a day with us at the National Balloon Classic! Enjoy lunch at the Machine Shed! Then, head to Indianola, visit Summerset winery for a tasting session, then visit the National Hot Air Balloon museum. Finally head to the balloon field view the Mass Ascension and Opening Ceremonies! 

Experience this world famous hot air balloon event right in our backyard!  Enjoy lunch at a fabulous local spot for some very delicious down home cook’n! The Machine Shed offers great American style cuisine in a country environment with big portions! After lunch we head to Summerset Winery. Enjoy several samples of their local wine and if you find one you like, bring a bottle home! Visit the National Hot Air Balloon Museum, an amazing little place filled with everything you could imagine about this incredible sport. Tonight we enjoy the Opening Ceremonies and Mass Ascension at the Balloon Field.  Be sure to bring along a lawn chair and make some room for all of that amazing festival food! Watch as balloons of all shapes and colors are laid out and filled with air.  Before you know it, they are lifting off into the sunset.  A band usually plays 80's music while the balloons are filling the sky. After the balloons take off, we'll make our way back home. It's a wonderful summer day where we do all the planning, you just have to sit back and enjoy the ride!
